Best high-end cocktail bar in Rapid City. Cocktails are made to custom specifications. They’ll even add it to the “Brown Book” of recipes for future reference. I mean, who does that? Two thumbs up for Windsor Block. And for excellent brews and pizza, Independent Ale House is right next door. Owned by the same folks. You can’t go wrong here.

The other reviews do not overstate the impressive nature of the bottle collection here, it’s a sight to behold. But, what made this a favorite stop for us on our adventures in Rapid City was the attentive and helpful service and unpretentious willingness to educate in all things whiskey. The old fashion recommendation was excellent and the gin based cocktail that the bartender created on the spot was delicious and well presented. If you enjoy the art of the drink and are looking for a unique spot to visit this place should be at the top of your list - they may even deserve a sixth star.

This place is amazing. The owner and staff clearly put a lot of effort into making the Windsor Block a premiere whiskey and cocktail bar. I don’t know if I’ve ever seen such a comprehensive list of whisk(e)ys in one place. If you’re a fan of bourbon, scotch or American, Irish or Japanese whiskey, this place is definitely worth trying out. I’ll be coming back the next time I’m in RC.

Nice vibe! Was bumping on a Friday night, but I love the decor and the beautiful barback with all the liquor on it. Drinks were delicious! The waitress we had was kind of slow and did other stuff before she actually came to get our drink order, so that was a bummer.

Simply the best – the best craft cocktails, the best whiskey selection, the best bottle display (just breathtaking, sincerely). To Justin, Jeane, and Heidi – thank you so much for making our visit so enjoyable and oh so memorable. I left with a bunch of memories but one stands out from the rest, whiskey is meant to be drank and is best enjoyed with friends. Appreciate the hospitality and hope to see you all again. Awesome drinks. Amazing atmosphere. Great people. Highly recommended.
